I hail from Brampton
Ontario, and my co-workers here at CKDM and residents of
the Parkland have made me feel very welcome. My media
career started in Television in Brampton, where I
learned the ropes being a Camera Operator for local
shows, a valuable asset for the short time I was there.
However it was after that point in which I truly knew I
wanted to pursue a career in radio, especially Play by
Play.
Throughout my career, I worked as a Public Address
Announcer for the Humber Hawks, then switched
microphones to perform Play by Play for both basketball
and volleyball. I also did commentary for the 2006
Outtahand Provincial Volleyball Championships.
I look forward to another exciting season of Kings
hockey here on CKDM, and also experiencing the sports
scene first hand and meeting everyone involved. It
should be very exciting and a great learning experience!!
Congratulations to Second year
defenseman Colby Robak of the
Brandon Wheat Kings, he was chosen

Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, And a
former member of the Parkland AAA
Midget Rangers, Robak is currently
maintaining an 80%
average at Crocus Plains Secondary
