Dauphin's Pride celebrations are set to roll tomorrow (Friday).
Participants are encouraged to be at Vermillion Park by 4 pm to line up, with the parade beginning shortly after that.
Following the parade, there will be a BBQ and family activities at the park.
This is the third year for the Pride events in Dauphin, and Frances Chartrand with the Northwest Metis Council says it gets bigger every year.
"When we walk and we all celebrate each other, it is incredible to see our community gather, and all of our families and friends and our allies and organizations just celebrate and support one another. And it is growing every year, and I think it is going to be a long-standing celebration."
Chartrand thanks all of the businesses and agencies that help them put on this event, including the Dauphin Friendship Centre, Assiniboine College, West Region Treaty 2 and 4 Health, Mountainview Teachers Association, and the City of Dauphin, just to name a few.
