BIG AND RICH APPEAR ON ``THE BACHELOR''  

Big and Rich will be special guest stars on next Monday's episode of ``The Bachelor.'' However, the bachelorettes will have to write their own love songs and perform them.

SUGE KNIGHT ENTERS PLEA, THEN HOSPITALIZED 

Death Row Records founder Suge (SHUG) Knight pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and attempted murder, then was rushed to the hospital with chest pain. Information about his condition is not available. Knight is accused of killing one man and injuring another by running over them with his pickup truck last week in a Los Angeles fast-food lot. He could face life in prison if convicted. In November, Knight was in jail in Las Vegas on a robbery charge when he fell and needed treatment for bruising on his neck and head. Knight is due back in court next Monday when a judge will consider whether to set bail.

CHOREOGRAPHER REFLECTS ON ``LEFT SHARK'' AND ``RIGHT SHARK'' 

Katy Perry's choreographer is more than pleased with how ``Left Shark'' and ``Right Shark'' performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. RJ Durell tells The Hollywood Reporter the two dancers in the shark costumes were told to perform Perry's moves for the ``Teenage Dream'' chorus and to have fun with ``a Tweedledum/Tweedledee-type persona.'' Durell says the right shark hit the dance moves precisely, while the left one was ``more goofy, fun-spirited sports fan mascot type.'' So who WERE ``Left Shark'' and ``Right Shark''? Durell says they were two of Perry's longtime backup dancers but didn't name them.

SAM SMITH DRINKS IN SUCCESS 

Sam Smith's life has been a whirlwind since the success of his ``In The Lonely Hour'' album. He's had the presence of mind to take it all in. Smith says he's actually very good at taking a moment to celebrate his successes. He's surrounded by people whose jobs are to think of the next thing, while he feels it's his job to ``swim in the good stuff.'' However, even Smith catches himself wanting more, more, more. Smith says he used to be thrilled to get a hundred ``likes'' on Facebook and now he's hoping to get two million.

PAUL McCARTNEY, RIHANNA, KANYE WEST ADDED TO GRAMMYS 

Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Kanye West will team up for a performance at the Grammys on Sunday. They will perform their collaboration, ``FourFiveSeconds.'' West will also have another performance solo.

TAYLOR SWIFT THINKING OF TOUR, NOT GRAMMYS 

Taylor Swift says she will have a ``dance party/rage fest in the audience'' at the Grammys, but she won't be performing. Swift writes on Instagram she needs to focus on her tour instead. She is nominated for three Grammys and will also present the award for best new artist.
