It was definitely an exciting game for the fans. After going down 2-0 in the opening frame Dauphin bounced back and tied things up after 40. Drake Bodie (4) then gave the Kings a 3-2 lead in the third before Virden tied it late on the Power Play. Other scorers on the night for the Kings were Cody Nelson (6) and Chance Thomas (15).
After nothing was solved in an entertaining overtime the Kings took five rounds in the shootout to get their 16th win of the season.
