The Parkland U18 Rangers have earned their biggest win of the season. Opening the weekend against the seven win Pembina Valley Hawks, Madden Murray had the hot-stick as Parkland held on for a 4-3 win.
Murray scored twice in the win as Parkland won their third game of the season and it was their most impressive victory. The Hawks came into the game near the top of the league at 7-2-2, but they had no answers for a very hungry Parkland team on Saturday night.
Tavyn Boychuk and Luke Myhre also scored for the Rangers in the game and Chase Glover made some big saves and ended the night with 27 saves.
Parkland will look for their fourth win of the season on Sunday afternoon as the two teams meet once again at Credit Union Place, the puck is set to drop at 1:30.
