He led all CFL returners with five touchdowns in 2022 and he's back in Manitoba's capital.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have announced that they have re-signed American receiver and kick returner, Janarion Grant. The new contract is one-year in length and it was finalized just days before he was set to become a free agent on February 14.

The 2023 season will be Janarion's fourth with Winnipeg. Grant earned a spot on the CFL All-Star team and became the Blue Bombers’ all-time leader in kick return touchdowns during the regular season last year. He also set a Grey Cup record with a 102-yard return touchdown in the championship loss to Toronto.

Winnipeg will play two preseason games ahead of the 2023 regular season, all starting on Saturday, May 27 when the club heads to Edmonton to play the Elks before welcoming the Roughriders the following Friday. Week one of the CFL season kicks off on Friday, June 9 when Winnipeg welcomes Hamilton to IG Field.
