The Dauphin Clippers girls rugby team are perfect. They're also the newest Provincial Champions.
Dauphin capped off a perfect season with a dominating performance in a 92-0 victory over Souris and with the victory, they took home the provincial championship on home field in Dauphin.
As the Clippers won their second straight provincial title, Bree Walker led the way with three tries. Kiersten Vandekerckhove, Ashley Korney, and Mai Maguet had two tries apiece.
Lindsey Korney, Tanya Devos, Ryann Richard-Soltis, Tylee Rudkavich, Lucile Musick, Ruth Dandeneau, and Raylyn Koshowski scored a try each for Dauphin.
The team outscored their opponents 490-0 this season.
On the boys side, the Clippers beat Dakota, 40-12. Alex Thompson had two tries. Colton Miner, Will Miner, Joshua Yakielashek, and Austin Komarniski all had a try. Stijn Roorda had five converts.
The win advances him to the provincial final against St. Paul's on Saturday at 12:30 at KIN Field.
