Eric Prokopowich has some work to do if he wants to make the cut at Golf Canada's Amateur Championships in Saskatoon.
The Dauphin Lake Golf Club member had one birdie in shooting a five-over, 77. He sits in a tie for 199th heading into Wednesday's second round, one he will have to go low in to make the cut.
Braxton Kuntz, who recently won his fourth straight Manitoba championship, is the highest Manitoban after 18 holes after shooting three-under and he finds himself in a tie for 14th, four strokes back of two golfers.
