Four Dauphin Clippers will be represented on each of the U-18 Women's ans U-16 Men's Teams.

A number of  Dauphin rugby players were in Saskatchewan a week ago playing for the Westman Rush in a ManSask ciompetition.

At the tournament their level of play really drew the right attention, eight of them will now be moving on, playing in a Toronto tournament in August as members of Team Manitoba.

Kaylee Dyck, Kaila Stratuliak, Courtney Zurba, and Acadia Axewomen recruit Monique Coffey were named to the Under-18 Women's squad.

Travis Howdle, Zane Brindle, and ManSask tournament MVPs, Branden McCrady and Brayden Tomchuk, were named to the U-16 men's team.

The teams head to Toronto for August 15th. Both are running fundraising campaigns, looking to reduce the cost of competing in the tournament that will cost each player around $1200 to compete in.

The Men's team have set up a GoFundMe page here: https://www.gofundme.com/2f7rqjw

The Women's team is taking a different fundraising approach, teaming up with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to sell tickets to their July 21st game against the Calgary Stampeders.

A portion of tickets sold will go toward the team's fund raising efforts. Tickets are available in section 119 for $41, or in section 203 for $25.75.
