Dauphin King prospect Riese Gaber of Gilbert Plains had another strong day at the Brandon Wheat Kings rookie camp Thursday.

Gaber had a goal in Team Green's 7-4 round robin victory over Team Black, then in the first place final Green defeated Team Gold 4-3 in a shootout, Gaber also notched a goal in that contest.

On day one of the Wheaties rookie camp (Wednesday) Team Green had a thrilling come-from-behind victory against Team Gold. Green found themselves down 5-2, but pulled through to win 6-5 in OT. Gaber had two goals in that game.

Gaber's team win makes him the second Parkland hockey player in less than a week to be on a WHL rookie camp winning team. Mark Liwiski of Dauphin was a member of Team Red which claimed the Volunteer Cup at the Everett Silvertips camp on Saturday.

Wheat Kings main camp starts Friday, and like the Dauphin Kings camp, also wraps up Sunday.
