Man Dies in Hospital After Altercation Near Winnipeg University
 
Four people have been charged with manslaughter after a fight turned deadly near the University of Winnipeg.

Police say the altercation happened around noon on Monday.

A man in his 40s was found badly hurt on the street and later died in hospital.

The suspects were tracked down by the police canine unit. Police won't say if alcohol or drugs played a role in the killing or if weapons were used.

Woman Pulls Over to Help Others, Gets Attacked
 
Police are looking for information in an assault near Norway House they believe was a targeted attack.
 
RCMP say a 52-year-old woman was driving on a rural road when she was flagged down by a female with a young child. When the woman got out to help, she was ambushed from behind by a large male.
 
The woman managed to get free and the male and female, along with the child, fled in a mid-size red or burgundy vehicle.
 
Passersby found the 52-year-old woman sitting on the side of the road with visible upper-body injuries. She was taken to hospital.

National Day of Mourning March Scheduled for Dauphin Tomorrow
 
For the second straight year, a march will be held in Dauphin for the National Day of Mourning.
 
Dave Rehaluk of the Dauphin and District Labour Committee says there is a theme this year.
 
"It's calling on the federal government to have a national ban on the use of asbestos... Basically the idea is to outlaw the use of it and to prevent or prohibit the use of it in new buildings."
 
The National Day of Mourning -- a day to recognize those hurt or killed on the job -- is tomorrow. The march will start at noon at the MGEU building.

iPhone Sales Drop for the First Time
 
Apple is marking a first -- and it's not a good one.

The tech giant reports iPhone sales sank for the first time ever in the latest quarter -- down 10-million from the same time last year.

And the lower sales have led to Apple's first drop in quarterly revenue in 13 years.

The company has been battling perceptions that its latest iPhones aren't that different from previous models.
