The ceremony consists of cultural indigenous dances from neighboring aboriginal communities in the Parkland.

DRCSS teacher and Pow Wow organizer Wade Houle says "As an indigenous educator I think it's important to give back to my community."

Houle further added that growing up there wasn't as much cultural opportunity provided to him unless it was instructed by his parents.
