Tee Talent is a online t-shirt company based in Toronto run by two men, both who have disabilities.
Founder, Carlos Fred Martins, lost his leg in a shark attack and has a prostetic leg.
Co-founder, Shayne Smith, has meningococcal septicemia which has led to amputations of his legs, left hand and a few fingers on his right hand.
Smith says the whole purpose of Tee Talent is to hire people who have disabilities.
"Our end game is we want everyone co-founders all the way down to the people working in the factory making the t-shirts. Everyone has some form of challenge.
Winnipegosis' Alex Lytwyn is the new Communications Manager for the up and coming t-shirt company.
Lytwyn says he got the job as he saw their add on Facebook.
"I contacted them, we shared our stories then they offered me the job of Communications Manger. With the company being so new, my job is promotion and getting there story in the media."
The purpose of Tee Talent is to show potential employers that no matter what the disability is, disabled people can be productive members of the work force.
The t-shirts have motivational saying or pictures on them to give people a sense of “belonging & understanding."
Smith says they want people from all over the place to come and work for them.
"We have an ambassador named Robin that lives in Australia, we have a guy named Matt Scott who is an incredible wheelchair basketball player who resides in Detroit. So, we're really all over the place."
