RCMP are investigating two armed robberies in the Interlake they believe are connected.
Police say on December 6th an armed suspect wearing coveralls, white gloves, and a green hood entered a gas station and demanded money and cigarettes from an employee, then fled south on Highway 6.
The suspect vehicle is described as a red GMC pickup truck.
Police say the next day Ashern RCMP were told of an armed robbery at the Lake Manitoba First Nation arena, in which a suspect robbed the VLTs and fled in a GMC pickup.
RCMP officers found a burnt-out GMC pickup the day after that.
No one was injured.
