He became a legend in Winnipeg and he's heading back to Manitoba's capital.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced that they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with quarterback Chris Streveler. Chris returns to Winnipeg after spending the last four seasons in the National Football League, playing nine regular season games. 

Joining the team in 2018 for the first time, Streveler threw for 11 touchdowns in his first season in Winnipeg while rushing for 10. He became the first Winnipeg quarterback since Matt Dunigan to hit double-digit touchdown totals through the air and on the ground.

Streveler started 12 games for Winnipeg in 2018 and 2019, throwing for 2,698 yards to go along with 19 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He rushed for 1,167 yards and 22 touchdowns.
