The Gilbert Plains Recreation Complex will be a busy place on Sunday as the Parkland Minor Hockey Association is holding a Female Hockey Jamboree.
Atom, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget female hockey players are invited to take part in 4 on 4 games throughout Sunday afternoon and evening.
President Ann Ransom says officiating clinics will also be offered.
"During the 4-on-4, Parkland Minor Hockey Association is introducing a 'try officiating' clinic. So anybody in the Parkland that would like to try officiating in a very informal and very supportive environment, we're looking for them to register."
Parent meetings will be held at the same time as games to discuss the upcoming season.
