The Roblin Stars kick off their quest for a title tonight in the Southeast Senior Baseball League as they hit the road to take on the Canora Supers in game one of their series at 6:15 p.m.

The Stars went 5-9 in the regular season, but perhaps starting on the road is a good thing as they went 3-3 on the road, which was better then their home record (2-6).

If the Stars want to have any success against the Supers, their pitching will have to be better then it was in the regular season. The Stars allowed an average of nine runs. Offensively, they scored an average of 6.64 runs in 14 regular season games.

For the Supers (9-5-2), offense seemed easy to come by scoring an average of 7.62 runs per game, but their pitching stole the show as they ranked third in the league allowing just 4.62 runs per game.

Game two between the Stars and Supers will return to Roblin on Thursday evening.
