The Dauphin Kings Spring Camp came to a close yesterday at Credit Union place.
82 kids from all over Manitoba, western Canada and even the United States attended the Spring Camp.

Head Coach/General Manager Marc Berry was satisfied with the Camp turn out.

"We were real happy with the turn out, both with number of players and quality of players. The new format this year, going with two separate groups, really seemed to appeal to some players, especially the 2002 Bantam age players that we'll be drafting this year. We felt that we had a good look at draft prospects and that helps the camp serve it's purpose."

Next up for the Kings is the Program of Excellence next weekend, which will see the coaching staff continue to scout players the team is interested in.
