The 15U Parkland Vipers Volleyball team had a solid weekend on the court this weekend in Brandon.
The Vipers first game was a loss to the Brandon Gold 15U team, putting the team in a tough spot for the rest of the tournament.
However, the Vipers pulled together, and defeated the SM Smash and Portage Orange ton finish the round robin in second place.
The playoffs began with a match against the 14U Brandon Gold team, which was won by the Vipers in three sets.
In the next round, the Vipers took on the Club West Rage, and swept them two games to none to move on to the semi-final.
That match would prove difficult, as the Vipers fell to Winnipeg's Dynamo Red in three sets.
Dynamo Red went on to defeat the 15U Gold team, meaning the Vipers finished third.
Next action for the club teams will be next weekend on April 8th, when the 14U Vipers hold their tournament at Henderson/Barker Schools here in Dauphin.
The 15U Vipers will hold their home tournament the next weekend on April 15th at DRCSS.
Both tournaments will b3e one-day tournaments.
